"Everything starts with great quality..."

-

Adding some art to any space is a great way to bring it to life. With that in mind, we’d like to introduce KAKAHUETTE, one of our go to websites for prints. They sell a range of prints, including those of architecture or scenic shots, so there’s a something for everyone.

The name KAKAHUETTE is a phonetic translation of “peanut” in French, our favourite pairing with a good wine. Their idea was very simple, something easy and unique enough to stick with you to be remembered. KAKAHUETTE collaborates with photographers to produce high quality and limited edition photographs. Whenever a limited edition runs out, it is forever.

They offer wall art photos for decoration. Clients have different tastes in term of photos, so they offer a variety of types and styles of photos. They make frames and size the photos and are more than happy to let you decide the type of frame and the size of the photo you would like.

Some of our favourite photographers & prints

1.

Andrew Ives

Andrew started getting into photography when he was studying Digital Media. He moved to Hong Kong in 2015, and fell in love. He’s a night person so naturally he went out after dark and practiced shooting. Neon signs, rain, and gritty street scenes became his focus.

Our favourite shot from Andrew had to be “Novitas”, where he was able to capture the bright neon signs in Hong Kong, which are now slowly disappearing.

“Libero” is also a favourite of ours, capturing the busy and bustling streets in Hong Kong.

2.

Nancy Da Campo

Nancy Da Campo is an architecture photographer born in Milan, Italy. She has always felt inspired and fascinated by lines, perspective, symmetry, geometry and these are all the elements that she tries to capture and isolate in her photos. In the past few years she’s been based in London, Paris and Sydney. Now you’ll find her travelling in Asia documenting the best architecture on this side of the world.

Nancy’s capture, “HK Facade”, of colour buildings and facades showcase the richness and diversity of cultures in Hong Kong.

3.

Billy Ha

Billy Ha is a Hong Kong based photography enthusiast who began shooting in 2016. Having spent his formative childhood in the States, he views the Chinese culture from a unique angle and attempts to  present all the small things of the culture’s daily life in ‘A story per frame’ format.

The shot “Hong Kong Jewels” and “The Wizard”, are shots that capture the uniqueness of locally grown businesses, with the signature red signboards, marking their entrances.
